01 · Accounts and Organizations
The person behind an account matters.
You must provide accurate information and use your own account. You are responsible for activity performed through your credentials and for maintaining their confidentiality. Notify Cards Support promptly if you believe access has been lost, shared improperly, or compromised.
Organizations control their workspaces, membership, roles, projects, and customer content. Workspace administrators are responsible for inviting appropriate people, assigning suitable permissions, and removing access when it is no longer needed.
02 · Customer Content
Your organization keeps ownership of its work.
As between you and Cards, you or your organization retain ownership of the information, files, conversations, instructions, and other content submitted to the service. You grant Cards the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, display, protect, back up, and otherwise handle that content to provide the service.
You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to place content in Cards and to share it with workspace members, clients, or other participants you invite.
Cards does not turn ownership of your work into ownership by Cards.
03 · Acceptable Use
Use the system to coordinate—not to exploit.
Expected
- Use Cards for legitimate organizational and client work.
- Respect role, permission, privacy, and confidentiality boundaries.
- Raise questions when a result, access decision, or record appears wrong.
- Comply with applicable laws and agreements.
Not Permitted
- Unauthorized access, testing, scraping, interference, or circumvention.
- Malware, unlawful content, harassment, impersonation, or rights violations.
- Using Cards to create deceptive records or conceal unauthorized actions.
- Reselling or copying the service except through a written agreement.
04 · The Service
Cards provides a system—not the professional judgment.
Cards helps organizations plan, coordinate, document, review, and understand work. It does not promise a particular business, employment, legal, financial, or creative outcome. People remain responsible for the quality of their work, the fairness of their decisions, and the commitments they make.
CardBot may help interpret project information and create reviewable drafts. It does not replace human approval, and it should not be treated as an accountable decision-maker about a person.
05 · Fees and Service Changes
Commercial terms should be explicit.
Any fees, billing period, included usage, renewal terms, taxes, and cancellation terms will be shown in an applicable order, plan, or other written agreement. A beta relationship does not create an obligation to purchase a future paid service unless both parties agree separately.
Cards may change or improve the service over time. If a change materially reduces purchased functionality, applicable notice and remedies will follow the controlling commercial agreement.
06 · Ending Use
Access can end without rewriting history.
You may stop using Cards. Workspace administrators may remove members, and Cards may suspend or terminate access when required by law, necessary to protect the service or other people, caused by material breach, or permitted by an applicable agreement.
When a relationship ends, export, retention, deletion, recovery, and surviving record obligations are handled according to the Privacy Policy and any controlling customer agreement.
07 · Warranty and Liability
No system makes uncertainty disappear.
Cards is provided subject to the warranties expressly stated in an applicable written agreement. To the extent permitted by law, other implied warranties are disclaimed. Cards does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free results, or that every incident can be prevented.
Any limitations of liability, exclusions of damages, or negotiated remedies in an applicable order form or customer agreement control over this general statement. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited.
08 · General Terms
The specific agreement controls the specific relationship.
If an order form, beta agreement, data-processing agreement, or other signed contract conflicts with these Terms, the more specific signed agreement controls for that subject. If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the remaining terms continue.
Cards may update these Terms as the service evolves. The effective date will change, and additional notice will be provided when appropriate. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Optional SMS programs
If you separately opt in, Cards may send transactional text messages about your beta application, appointments, and beta milestones, or promotional text messages about product updates, launch announcements, pricing, and offers. Consent is not a condition of applying for or participating in the beta. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. You may opt in again through a Cards form or by contacting us. Mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
